Large weighbridge usually used to weigh the tonnage of a truck, mainly used in the measurement of bulk goods in factories, mines, construction sites, and merchants. So what are the precautions for using the weighbridge instrument?
Ⅰ. The impact of the use environment of the weighbridge instrument
1. Environmental changes. For example, the cable of the sensor junction box of a platform scale has been damp for a long time, the insulation has been reduced, and the weighing is inaccurate; or some users have improperly selected the location of the grounding point after the electrical circuit transformation, resulting in changes in the system reference.
2. Equipment changes. Due to equipment transformation, some users have replaced some parts. During this process, it is impossible to completely restore the state during calibration, the system display value changes, and the accuracy decreases.
3. The venue changes. Due to changes in the environment of the site, some users are accustomed to it and do not notice it. For example, a drop in the foundation can cause a change in the scale.
Ⅱ. The impact of the use conditions of the weighbridge instrument
- Environmental factors. The use environment of some customers greatly exceeds the design requirements of the weighbridge (mainly refers to the instrument and sensor), and the instrument and sensor are close to the strong electric field and strong magnetic field. For example, there are radio stations, substations, high-power pumping stations near the weighbridge. Another example is that there are boiler rooms and heat exchange station discharge outlets near instruments or weighbridges, and the temperature in the area changes drastically. Another example is that there are flammable and explosive materials near the weighbridge, all of which are environmental neglect.
2. Site factors. Certain customers have had flaws in their field of use. Weighbridge mainly means that the installation position of instruments and sensors does not meet the requirements. On-site vibration, dust, smoke, corrosive gas, etc. will affect the use. For example, the weighing platforms of some weighbridges are built on abandoned garbage dumps, river courses, waste pits and so on.
3. Customer understanding factor. Some users misunderstood the relevant functions and proposed requirements that did not meet the design, but the builder did not raise them in time, resulting in dissatisfaction among users. For example, the user thinks that since there is a long-term compensation function, the distance between the weighing platform and the instrument is required to be 200 meters, and some users propose that the communication distance of RS232 is 150 meters, and the distance between the printer and the instrument is 50 meters, etc. These are all misunderstandings caused by failure to understand and communicate.
Ⅲ. Other matters needing attention
1. When the system starts to work, preheat for 10-30 minutes.
2. Pay attention to air circulation and ensure heat dissipation conditions.
3. Keep the system at a stable temperature and humidity.
4. If the power supply fluctuates greatly, it is best to add a voltage stabilizer.
5. The system must be reliably grounded and anti-jamming measures must be added.
6. The outdoor part of the system needs to carry out necessary protective treatment, such as anti-static, lightning protection, etc.
7. The system should be kept away from corrosive substances, flammable and explosive substances, boiler rooms, substations, high-voltage lines, etc.
